Before I share about my current service offerings for December, I want to share a story with you because one of my sisters has admonished me to do so, and I believe that this is what I need to do to be more of a blessing to you.
MY STORY
There was a time in my life when I was younger where I walked around in an overly self-confident manner, with arrogance and pride that eventually led to my fall in certain areas of my life. As a result of having fallen, I sought out help with regaining ground from trusted advisers, teachers, preachers and mentors. I began to rely on some of them a bit too much and lost some of those relationships because God has already explained in His Word that He wants us to put no one else before Him. Unfortunately, I found myself doing this again in recent years and have had to once again make some adjustments to my life and business that line up with Him and how He’s leading me to conduct myself, instead of seeking to please other people that I love and respect by doing things that seem like a good idea, but that God did not call me to do for them.
So, I have recently updated my bio on my main website to reflect some of my business changes, and my current service offerings also reflect this. Most notably, I am no longer offering my virtual assistance services. That piece of my business is the oldest part and is officially retired from service. This is because I know that I am more gifted and talented, and have a lot more time, to teach and mentor you in online marketing.
My goal is to continue imparting the wisdom and training that I’ve been receiving since 1996 with business and marketing and since 2007 with online marketing and social media marketing. Trying to serve you as your assistant would not serve you well. It would be a total disservice to you. Unfortunately for one of my recent clients, I found this out the hard way when I endeavored to act as a virtual assistant to them. I didn’t enjoy that type of work anymore, as I used to, and it began to also impact my relationship with them in a negative way because I was out of place and out of position.
I have learned my lesson and am now ready to move forward with a new freedom to maximize my strength as a mentor in the social networking and social media marketing arena to help you eliminate any weakness that you may have in this area.
