It’s so important to live without assaulting your own conscience. If you have doubts about something…if it doesn’t resonate with you, then why keep doing it?
And on the other side, why neglect the things that you do care about…living according to what matters most to me is so important.I am through with doing or not doing things based on others’ opinions and/or ideas of what is “normal”.
At this point in my life, I realize that our family’s life is a lot less than normal because we have an untraditional schedule, more than two kids, and, most of all, because we homeschool.
So, comparing myself to other friends and family is totally useless. However, forming relationships with those who are similar, such as homeschool families, has proven to be a true blessing for me.
